The Star of Hope family believes that sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the ultimate privilege and responsibility of the church.

Jesus instructed His disciples to “go…teach…baptize…teach.” Our passion is not only to share the Good News of Christ in our world, it is also to help individuals and families grow in their knowledge of the Lord and His Word as it applies to life outside the sanctuary.

Our ultimate aim is God’s ultimate aim:  to produce a generation that demonstrates Christ-like, Christ-centered dominion through the knowledge and application of His Word.

The Star of Hope Men’s Ministry focuses on discipleship, service, and fellowship.  The men of the Star of Hope serve in the church with their own Bible Study meetings and around the community with various projects like “Adopt-a-Street” and singing at local nursing homes. The men are always ready to lend a helping hand with a Christ-like combination of humility and fortitude.  Our men have a passion for reaching and mentoring the next generation, as well as becoming the servant-leaders God ordained them to be.

The desire of the Star of Hope Women’s Ministry is to help all women grow, serve, and contribute to the Kingdom of God.  Through prayer and the guiding of the Holy Spirit, the Star ladies focus on ministry that leads to transformational discipleship, culminating in a life that reflects the character of Christ.  The women give of their time, talent, and treasure; and they embody the essence of our mantra: they share and serve from the heart, and they reach out to others to promote Godly woman

Star of Hope Young Adults (SOHYA) is the pulse of our church.  They are involved in many projects in and around the church. SOHYA hosts an event called “Real Talk!” on the 2nd Friday of every month. “Real Talk!” is a time of fun, food, and fellowship, highlighted by open questions and Biblical answers regarding issues particular to this age group. SOHYA is also heavily involved in mentoring youth in our surrounding communities, as well as many other forms of community service.

The Star of Hope Youth Ministry is our ImPACT! Team. (I’m a Proud, Able, Christian Teenager!) ImPACT reaches out to students from all walks of life between 7th and 12th grade.  Our goal is to provide a Biblical foundation for them as they face the challenges of fast-paced, technologically driven society, and ensuring that honoring the Lord in their choices is the core of their decision-making process.  We believe ImPACT can IMPACT their generation for Jesus Christ!

The Star of Hope SuperStars Children’s Ministry serves our pre-teen kids with appropriate age-level instruction and activities to help them to know God for themselves. Our children are truly SUPER to us, and we want them to be SUPER everywhere they go – in their families, in their schools, and in society. We believe successful education for our SuperStars does not start in the classroom.  It starts in the home and is supported by our church. With families, schools, and the church working together, our kids really can be a SUPER part of the society and the sanctuary!
